What a weak week

Wow, the last week has been really uneventful (is that a word?) mostly due to the rain. Grey did not have a really good week and he ended up driving again so we didnt have a car to go do anything, not to mention it did rain everyday! Ceci and I decided to attempt to walk to the mall one day so we left our apartment at around 5pm it was getting really overcast really fast. we made it to the mall just in time, once we were in the first store we heard the loud thunder and pouring rain on the roof. The mall was SO crowded! (it is a really big popular mall) We got annoyed at the number of people and ran out of stores to go to so we wanted to leave. Luckily the rain had stopped so we booked it home, as we got to our parking lot it started raining again!





Sunday the whole office was having a BBQ at the beach as a reward for hitting their goal. We headed to Key Biscayne (an Island just southwest of Miami) and the clouds started coming in fast. We got there before anyone else and were hanging out on the beach when the lifeguards started blowing their whistles yelling at everyone to get off the beach because there was a lightning storm coming! You could feel the static. Everyone else got there not too long after and decided to BBQ instead. We did have good food and the boys played football and volleyball, it soon started to rain so we packed it up and headed home. (pictures below)





Yesterday was stormy again so Londyn and I made a fort! Its funny because I just read my sisters blog and she blogged about making a fort with her neice and nephew, great minds think alike! ha ha ha....it was a pretty weak fort but Londyn LOVED it! (picture below)
