I was just talking to my sister on the phone (i miss her) and decided I would blog about The Perfect Pair of Pants I will some day own.
I went shopping at the HUGE mall across the street about two weeks ago just to window shop (of course that is when you find everything you want) and found what I have been searching long and hard for.....Lets go back in time (back in Oakley pant history)..... I am really picky with pants but I hate spending a lot of money on them. I must have a weird body shape (well I know I do) but pants just do not fit well on me and I dont like feeling uncomfortable all day. I am also kind of picky about the actual jean material and the pattern (you know, the grain of the jean) so that is why I only have two pair of jeans I wear all the time! And they are really similar in style, one is shorter and I cant wear with shoes that have any kind of heel and the other is longer so I have to wear them with heels. However they were $20 each and I have definatley got my wear out of them. I love them both but I am on the quest to find another pair or two that are a different style but are just as comfortable......
so as I was saying.... I was window shopping, I guess I was going in the stores actually looking, Okay okay and trying on a few things... when I came across a really cute pair of designer jeans. My friend I was with was trying on to buy and I decided it would be fun to try on a pair because I have never put on pair of designer pants. I should have known...they fit PERFECT! I absolutley LOVED them! They were everything I had been searching for and more, thats right about $80 more than I spent on my other jeans BUT I loved them! I thought "they could be for Mothers Day since I didnt get anything" or "Grey would understand that they are the Perfect Pair of Jeans" I was doing what most girls do when they know what they want is more than what they should spend, I was Justifying! I finally just.....BOUGHT THEM!!!!
No, I am kidding! I talked myself out of spending that much but I did hide them on another rack in hopes that when I did have the money they would be right where I left them! Yeah right, they looked a little out of place in the baby section.
After a couple weeks of thinking about them I have come to the conclusion that I will go get them even though they are $100, but I will wait until I have the money. I know I will get my moneys worth because they fit so well I will wear them until they absolutly fall apart! But I say "Hey girls if you LOVE that pair of designer jeans, as long as you dont break the bank, just buy them! You will get your wear out of them and you will feel good everytime you put them on"
This blog reminded me of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (love the books, I recommend reading them!)

I agree, Im hate jean shopping, even though they are my favorite thing to wear. Im glad you gave me permission to buy them, when I find them.
It will be money worth spent. That's what we wear everyday. But I too had the same situation. I broke down and bought that 100 dollar pair last christmas. Well I must have put on weight because they fit oday still but now they are to short. Just my luck. Sounds like you are having fun in the sunshine state. I'm jelous we are in the middle of June and still waiting for 70* weather.
