...And now at 7 lbs 4oz, standing in at 20 1/2 inches tall...Corrrverrrrr Howwarrrrrrd (and the crowd goes wild! yah yah yah)
Well Grey says one day he will be introduced that way either on a field or on a court, but for now I will introduce him this way...
Our little guy Corver Duncan Howard was born Saturday (March 14th) at 2:45pm. He is such a good baby so far and is so cute! Other than seconds after he was born I have only heard him cry a few times. He is really content and is a great eater! These are pictures from Saturday right after he was born so he has swelling and bruising and looks completely different today. However everyone needs to have the weird newborn picture to look at later in life. I still think he is very very cute!

Labor and Delivery:
It was so so similar to the labor I had with Londyn. We got to the hospital at 8am (same with Londy), they started Potocine (sp?) at 8:30. I dialated to a 3, around 12:00, and got an epidural (I was at a 3 and it was 1:00 with Londyn). My doctor broke my water right after that. At 2:00 they got ready for me to deliver. I started to push at 2:20 and pushed 4 times and baby Corver was born. He had the cord wrapped around his neck twice (just like Londyn) and had the same breathing problems Londyn did. They showed him to me then took him straight to the nursery to get his breathing under control. Two hours later I got to hold him and we moved into our post partum room. It was an easy delivery and the epidural was great!
Recovery:
I have been doing great! The after birth cramping is worse this time but everything else seems to be easier down to the nursing (well is still really really hurts!) We are home now and the first night was...well... I didnt get to sleep until 6am. It took me until about 4am to realize he was cold, so as soon as I took him out to the living room and turned the fire on he was happy and slept the rest of the morning. He is still eating well and is pretty content. It was a relaxing day and I did get an hour nap.

Oh my heck, such a cute baby! Congratulations! I'm so glad everything went well and that you're all doing well!
Congrats Oakley! He's a cutie.
Beautiful baby! Absolutely a dream!!! Sounds as though things went smoothly and you are recovering well. Take care of yourself and enjoy that sweet little boy. I wish I could hold him and kiss on him - he is so precious. Londyn must be so excited to be big sister now. Congrats to you all. Love, AH
