Okay I am sorry for my lack of Blogging but I just hate to blog without pictures! I have the announcement and pictures to prove it but the pictures have to be scanned in and I could not get it to work. My mom will scan it in for me tomorrow when she gets back in town, so check back in for cute pics.
Anyway....Most of you know but for those of you that dont we are having a BOY!!!
We are so excited! We went in the doctors office and I really would have been fine with a boy or girl. A girl would have been fun for Londyn to be close too because she will not have cousins on Grey's side and not for a while on my side. But we (just like everyone else) want at least one boy and one girl. Grey really really wanted a boy so when the ultrasound tech said "Oh yeah its a boy no question" I could hear the smile on Grey's face. He could not stop smiling and I could just imagine what he was thinking "football, soccer, basketball, games..." and what I was thinking "I never had brothers! crap! what am I going to do". Just as the ultrasound was over Grey asked "So was that a pretty good shot? Is it for sure a boy?" the tech just said "If they hand you a girl that day...its not yours!". Then during my doctors appointment after my doctor looked at the pictures she said "Its against the rules to guarantee the sex of the baby but in this case....well, I still shouldnt promise but there is no doubt that is a boy".
So, what did I dream about all night that night? Boy clothes, boy blankets, crib bedding, colors, etc... I could not wait to start shopping but I did get a little intimidated. It is harder to shop for boys but fun because it's challenging. Our first store: my favorite baby store...DI....thats right you heard me I love the DI for baby clothes! We found so many cute things and they are so cheap. Next we went to Old Navy, another favorite! Third we went to the fabric store and got material for the crib bedding, the colors are orange, green and brown. It is going to be so cute! Now I am just holding back for the Christmas sales but if anyone has any suggestions on stores for boy clothes let me know.
Well enough blah blah blogging (thats what I call my blogging) and I will post pictures tomorrow!
