Oldie but Goodie

Just got home from watching this oldie but goodie. And I must admit I was not real excited when I heard what movie was on the agenda tonight but I cant resist an outdoor movie at the parents house. So here we are starting the movie that we (Grey and I) already had pre-concieved notions about it being really boring, and the opening teaser caught my attention right away. Just knowing Debbie Reynolds was only 16! About 10 min into it, Grey leaned over and said "this movie isnt too bad". And Londyn was hooked from the second it started, was it the singing, dancing, fast pace scene changes, or.....yes this had to be it.....the one thing she likes about every movie...... and this one had lots of....... she loved this movie because of........ all the............endless amounts of (because she was sitting by Grandpa)........popcorn. She loves, adores, devours, cant get enough of popcorn! And with the movie theater popcorn machine right there next to the screen who can resist. But she did sit through the whole movie and actually enjoyed it.
I loved the style of the clothes. The 20s were great and some of the stuff is coming back. I definately got some inspiration from it.
Well this will go on my oldie but goodie list for sure and if you havent seen it I highly recommend it!

That movie has always been one of my favorites. I sometimes sing the "Good Morning" Song to wake my kids up. They hate it. But the movie is awesome. I agree about the era and style. So beautiful.
