Want It VS Crave It

Okay it has been a couple weeks since blogging but I am just now getting back into the swing of things.
I have a blog I want to write about our pumpkin patch fun but I will wait until I get the pictures downloaded. So in the meantime I will update you on my little....well HUGE problem.
For those of you who are pregnant or have been pregnant you will understand me and maybe even feel a little sorry for me. But for those of you who havent been pregnant you just might not get the full picture...
You always hear about pregnant women craving different things throughout their pregnancy. Well as some of you know a craving is totally different than just something you really really want! Am I right? You will fight someone, anyone, to fulfill a craving. You cant sleep without waking up in the middle of the night to find yourself thinking about it (well you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom then find yourself thinking about it). You try to find other things that might taste like it but your mind is not fooled! The longer you go without it the stronger it gets.
With Londyn I craved pizza for the first half of my pregnancy. Grey loved that! I ate lots of junk food (that could have been the first time pregnancy excuse) and did not excersize at all! So, I was suprised with this pregnancy when 16 weeks in I had not had a true craving yet. Of course I had things I wanted but eventually I forgot about them and I could live without them. Well yesterday I find myself at 18weeks and craving.....EGGNOG! What? why eggnog you ask? Well I ask myself the same thing and the only answer I can come up with is....I am absolutly craving eggnog because THERE ISNT ANY!!! No one sells eggnog until November and if I have to wait until then I might go crazy!!! I want anything eggnog...an eggnog shake (cant find one), eggnog drink (cant find one), eggnog candy (cant find it). Of course I would crave something that cant be found, and by the time it comes out I will have decided just to make my own (stuff like that never tastes as good when you have to make it). If anyone has any suggestions let me know but I am determined not to go one more day without it, so tomorrow that will be my quest.
Thanks for listening to me get out my anger, too bad it doesnt satisfy my craving!

I love eggnog, and have already had some. I got it at Wal-Mart. In the back by the milk. Good luck finding some, I will pick some up for you if I find some.

I remember mom telling us that when she was pregnant with you in the middle of the winter she would crave watermelon. That one would suck...it wasnt even CLOSE to watermelon season for her. She said dad would get those watermelon laffy taffy and jolly ranchers. Too bad they dont have egg nog flavored candy. ;) (gross)

Haha...ok don't worry...Kohlers (the Dick's Market wannabe here in Lehi) totally had eggnog the other day! So if you are desperate enough, which it sounds like you may be, you can get some there! I will admit that eggnog has not been a craving of mine yet, but just about everything else under the sun has been! So yes, I am very understanding! :)
