Londyn on the Road

Sorry I havent blogged in a while but I have good reason...Road Trip!!! Before we left I tried to blog and post pictures but I was having a "technology how to" crisis. However I think I can figure it out now and I would like to introduce you to our family one by one along this journey. I thought I would tell you about Londyn first. She has really been a trooper on our journey to Florida. We just finished day two of our four day road trip across country and I will be the first to say "the drive is horrible"!!!! The scenery from Farmington to Albuqurque did not change the whole 10 hours (day one). I was hoping it would be a little different from Albuqurque to Dallas (day two) and I was right, it was a LITTLE different. It went from brown fields as far as you can see to green fields as far as you can see. All in all it has been a great trip and Londyn has not complained once! She is such a great child I could not have asked for better. I love her and you are about to find out why. Enjoy pictures and fun facts about Londyn Jo Howard.....

Londyn was born January 12, 2007. She had black hair that stuck straight up, now her hair is a dark blonde cute mess (I love it)! She has always been busy, busy, busy and has never wanted to play with regular toys. Her idea of a toy is anything dangerouse or real. We tried the fake cell phone, fake baby, etc... but she does not fall for it, its real or nothing! She is a total girly girl with the purse, sunglasses, lip gloss, everything... but at the same time she loves being outside playing in the dirt and eating rocks. Here is a picture of her at the park, she would spend all day every day playing in the woodchips at the park.

Londyn's words:

"duh"- Duncan

"dah"- Dad

"ba"- ball

"shssss"- shoes

she talks all the time but those are the only words we understand. She communicates by pointing to what she wants and someone gives in and lets her have what she wants (usually a grandma or grandpa). She is spoiled and sometimes I think it might be showing in her attitude but I am reassured by my mom "she has the same attitude you do" As much as I hate to admit it I know she does (poor girl...no, poor me).

Londyn's favorite foods:

Tomatoes, lettuce (Greys two worst foods) popcorn, nutrigrain bars, milk, fruit snacks, chips, pretzels, string cheese, etc....

Those are the basic foods that she will eat anytime anywhere.

She is such a blessing to have and I have loved being a mother. I love watching my family and the way they love and treat her but I especially love watching the way Grey interacts with her. He is such a great dad and Londyn is definatley a true daddys girl. she will not let him out of her sight. She has taught us so much and continues to teach us everyday. I cant imagine my life any different and being able to wake up and spend the day with her is what I look forward to. I know every mom thinks their child is the cutest and that is the way it should be but I just want it to be known that Londyn really is the cutest little girl EVER! You have to get to know her but once you do, you will love her sweet (sometimes sassy) personality!

I love you Londyn!!!
