Beautiful Pain

Okay it is the end of Day 3 of a now 5 day road trip to Miami! I mentioned in the other post how "scenic" (or lack there of) the first two days were, but today was so beautiful! I have never been this far east and I am amazed at the Huge trees that are everywhere and the deep colors of green in every direction. I just cant describe it and if you have never been this far east (sorry I failed to mention we drove from Dallas to Hattiesburg, Mississippi) you have to experience it for yourself! Trees line the freeway with beautiful green grass, purple and white flowers (okay so these are probably considered weeds here but they are pretty) and every once in a while you will see an opening beyond the trees and there will be a house usually with a little lake or pond and lots of property, which is hard to come by in Utah now. There are neighborhoods with big lots and every house looks different. It is beautiful but its not a fairytale, I feel like we stand out, like we have a big sign on our backs "We're From Utah!" Grey reassures me its just how it feels for a while but its not as bad as it seems. We have yet to eat anywhere different than the same old places we have in Utah (oh, we ate at Benigans but it was nothing to brag about) we are too nervous to go exploring too far off our maped out route not to mention we are completly exhausted! The drive is getting more and more painful but we are getting closer and closer and enjoying the time together. We could not ask for a better little traveler than Londyn, she has not complained once and as long as she has popcorn to get her by through the last 30 miles (everyday without fail its the last 30 miles) she is fine. She is a happy cute little traveler. Well, we are enjoying this experience and so far would recommend anyone in the right situation to consider. We will keep our road trip journal updated and hope to make it to Gainsville, Florida tomorrow. See ya later!
